Collaborator: Million Hearts Delaware

Project: Media Campaign to Help Prevent Heart Attacks and Strokes

End Use: Public Education

TELEDUCTION was retained in 2013 by Million Hearts Delaware to design and produce a series of video and audio PSAs to raise awareness about the risk factors that lead to heart attack and stroke. The series utilizes powerful personal testimonials from patients who survived both heart attacks and strokes, including physicians. The campaign was adapted for television, radio and web distribution.

"The videos and radio spots created by TELEDUCTION were instrumental in introducing the Million Hearts Initiative to the physician community and the public. We appreciated their creativity and enjoyed working together."

Client: Delaware Historical Society

Project: Launch - Center for African American Heritage

End Use: Visitor Orientation Film

"The Delaware Historical Society engaged Teleduction to produce an orientation film for its new Jane and Littleton Mitchell Center for African American Heritage. The project was full of challenges, not the least of which being condensing centuries of Delaware’s African American history into a 13-minute production. Journey to Freedom: The African American Experience in Delaware exceeds expectations by offering a content-rich, compelling presentation of African American history and heritage."

Client: AstraZeneca HealthCare Foundation

Project: AstraZeneca Young Health Program

End Use: AstraZeneca TV; International Public Relations

The AstraZeneca HealthCare Foundation asked the TELEDUCTION team to draw on its extensive experience working with non-profit, health-focused projects to produce a video of the highest quality that would raise awareness for AstraZeneca's international Young Health Program. We developed the visual concept and produced multiple versions of the program for internal broadcast on AstraZeneca TV and for its international public relations campaign.

Client: Delaware Department of Agriculture

Project: Delaware Agriculture: Farming the First State

End Use: Public Television Broadcast; Internet Release on Content Delaware

The Delaware Department of Agriculture asked us to develop a short video that told the history of farming in the First State, and TELEDUCTION and its non-profit sister company Hearts and Minds Film teamed up to expand the project into a thirty-minute documentary film for public television broadcast. We worked with our long-time partners the Delaware Humanities Forum and received additional support from the Delaware Farm Bureau and Farm Credit to bring this story of Delaware's biggest industry to life.

"TELEDUCTION's beautiful photography, insightful structuring and skillful editing tells the story of Delaware agriculture better than it's ever been told before."
~ Ed Kee, Historian and former Delaware Secretary of Agriculture
