Painter Mary Page Evans is the subject of TELEDUCTION's sixth
program in the Artists' Biographies documentary series.
Those who know
Mary Page Evans, even just by sight, will know it is a rare
moment when she is found sitting still. Her energy and effervescence
perfume the air around her and pull you in.
It is painting that has captured her attention for over four
decades and yielded such an impressive and enormous body of
work. "Oh! I don't wait for inspiration anymore. I learned
that years ago!" exclaims Evans in her enchanting Virginian
accent. She is as delicate and feminine as she is rugged and
down-to-earth. She's a rare mix. |
